In all instances, we want to keep church activities available but understand that at certain times weather will make it not safe to do so.  Please use the following rule of thumb to determine if church activities will be canceled or postponed.

During the week (Monday - Friday)
We will follow the closings of Sullivan County Schools. If Sullivan County Schools are closed, New Bethel activities are canceled or postponed.

On the weekend (Saturday - Sunday)
Session members (or the Pastor with the Clerk of Session as needed) will make a decision on church activities and an announcement will be made as early as possible. 

Notification will be made, as able, via email, the church website, Facebook, and phone calls or text messages.

If church worship is canceled on a Sunday morning, all church activities for the afternoon will be canceled as well.
